Concrete waterproofing with Radmyx additive

Work on the construction of a residential complex in Vranje in the south of Serbia began at the beginning of March 2019. When choosing the type of waterproofing of the foundation slab and basement walls, i.e. all parts of concrete that are below ground level, the designer's choice fell on Radmyx supplement. This is due to its proven ability 100% to protect concrete from water penetration, as well as its ability to activate every time it comes into contact with water. Radmyx The additive, as it comes in the form of a concentrate, is a highly crystallizing concrete admixture that is certified according to EN 934-2, Table 9, and meets VDP class 3.

All vertical and horizontal working joints were used CEMflex VB sheets that are made of stainless steel and coated with a crystal-based coating that, after coming into contact with water, begins the crystallization process, thus pushing the water to the edge of the wall so that the external reinforcement remains dry and protected from moisture.

2300 m3 of concrete was installed on this project with Radmyx with an addition. Sheets are placed on 1500 long meters of joints.
