Waterproofing and concrete impregnation with Radcon Formula #7

When expanding the storage areas of the container terminal in the Port of Kopar, being aware of the importance of proper and long-term waterproofing and impregnation of concrete on projects of great importance such as this one, the Investor chose Radcon Formula #7® with full confidence in its quality and long-term results.

Our company completed the job of applying Radcon Formula #7® to concrete surfaces in the Port of Koper back in 2006, in which Radcon Formula#7® fully met all the expectations of the Investor, who was able to assess the quality of the surfaces over time.

On the newly constructed concrete surfaces of the container terminal, the project envisaged making high-quality concrete on which asphalt would not be placed. Since these are concrete surfaces that are exposed to heavy weight loads, as well as high summer temperatures and the influence of sea salt, the concrete surface needed to be protected, i.e., a high-quality concrete impregnation was needed to increase the surface hardness of the concrete, repair existing micro-cracks in the concrete and protect the surface from the penetration of chloride ions into the concrete. Since Radcon Formula#7® meets all these requirements, the logical choice by the investor was once again Radcon Formula#7®.

Radcon® was applied to 6,000 m2 of newly built concrete, and we are sure that it will show its exceptional properties on these surfaces as well.
