RADMYX\u2122 can be added to concrete as an admixture or can be applied to an existing surface as a cementitious coating. The active particles of RADMYXA\u2122 react with the cement particles in the concrete and remain stationary in the concrete permanently. Once these particles come into contact with water again, for example if there is a crack that lets water into the concrete, the chemical process is reactivated and continues its "growth" of crystals through the concrete, sometimes penetrating many centimeters through the concrete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RADMYX\u2122 achieves these properties through its unique formula using its ability to regenerate crystal \u201cgrowth\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n

This ability to activate every time it comes into contact with water guarantees that the concrete will have constant 100% protection against water for the entire life of the concrete structure, since the concrete now has the ability to heal itself on a daily basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason the crystals are able to grow continuously is because the process is similar to the hydration process of cement itself. Only a small portion of the cement reacts during the initial hydration of concrete. Therefore, the vast majority of the cement particles remain free to react with RADMYX\u2122 in the future. The RADMYX\u2122 particles act as a catalyst for a larger reaction within the concrete. Because RADMYX\u2122 is added to the concrete as a pure concentrate, unlike many other similar crystal-growing products that are added to the concrete in a diluted state with cement and sand, there is a much larger number of crystals within the concrete structure and therefore a greater ability to continuously produce crystals in the future, making RADMYX\u2122 superior to other products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The crystals themselves are not invented in RADMYX\u2122, they \u201cgrow\u201d due to a reaction between RADMYX\u2122 itself and the inactive cement particles. Only a small amount of RADMYX\u2122 is needed to activate the cement particles and develop long, narrow crystals within the concrete. Since only a small amount of RADMYX\u2122 is needed for such a powerful reaction, the rest of RADMYX\u2122 remains dormant in the concrete until it comes into contact with water or moisture again, each time reactivating itself, and thus lasting in the concrete for the entire life of the concrete structure itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since RADMYX\u2122 ensures continuous \u201cgrowth\u201d of long, narrow crystals within the concrete structure, even if it is applied to only one side of the concrete in the form of a cement coating, RADMYX\u2122 can penetrate the entire thickness of the concrete with its crystals and thus provide waterproofing on the other side of the concrete as well.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
