SILVER SEAL – self-healing membrane

CEMproof® SilverSeal is an "active" swelling membrane for insulating concrete surfaces that touch the ground.

CEMproof® SilverSeal protects the surface in two ways:

• the first line of protection consists of a PE film coated on one side
• The second line of protection is a mechanically bonded fleece consisting of PP fibers coated with a swelling agent that absorbs water and swells.

In the case of water penetration through the foil, the hydroactive polymer swells and thus creates an extremely dense layer in the form of a gel that permanently insulates the building. Even cracks in the concrete are reliably closed this way! Water penetration into the background is practically impossible thanks to CEMproof® SilverSeal.
