Radcon formula #7

Product description

Radcon Formula #7® is a concrete waterproofing and impregnation product that is applied to concrete by spraying.

It is absorbed into the concrete by capillary action and binds with free calcium from the concrete, and when it comes into contact with water, it forms a gel in the cracks, pores and capillaries of the concrete. It is a continuous biochemical reaction that enables the closing of existing cracks in concrete up to 2 mm, as well as subsequently formed microcracks.

Radcon Formula #7® does not form a film on the surface of the concrete but is absorbed into the concrete and becomes an integral part of it. As such, it cannot be damaged by traffic or environmental exposure.

Radcon Formula #7® withstands high thermal stress and does not require additional UV protection.

Key benefits

  • Durable – Radcon Formula #7® will last in concrete as long as the concrete itself and will not need to be re-applied in the future.
  • Low risks during installation, errors are easy to find and fix.
  • Thermal load – withstands high thermal loads, tested up to 200 C, its gel system is not rigid.
  • Efficient – fast and efficient preparation of concrete before application.
  • Fast installation – 100% traffic on treated surfaces immediately after the first watering with water, i.e. after 6 hours from the application of Radcon Formula #7®.
  • Safe – non-toxic, non-poisonous for humans and animals, ecological product number 1 in the world in concrete protection.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

The concrete surface must be prepared according to the Manufacturer's technical instructions. MORE

  • The product must be mixed well before use.
  • Apply generously by spraying onto the surface in an amount of approximately 1 liter per 4-6 m2 of surface, first filling all cracks with the product.
  • When the surface is dry to the touch (approximately 2-6 hours after applying Radcon Formula #7®), the surface should be treated with water, the amount of water for this first watering should be approximately equal to the amount of Radcon Formula #7® applied, so the amount of water should not be too abundant. This first watering with water should definitely be done within 6 hours of applying Radcon Formula #7®.
  • Repeat the second and third watering with water at intervals of 24 hours (after 24 and 48 hours from the first application).

FEATURES

  • Permanently seals existing cracks in concrete up to 2 mm.
  • It subsequently closes newly formed micro cracks.
  • Reduces the chloride diffusion coefficient.
  • Increases the surface hardness of concrete from 6 to 8 on the Moh's scale.
  • Reduces scale build-up in freeze/thaw conditions for 89% up to 50 cycles.
  • Allows 84,10% vapor permeability.
  • Suitable for impregnation applications, tested at 400 meters of water column.
  • Non-toxic, proven suitable for drinking water tanks.
